Honey Garlic Chicken
Are you ready for this finger-licking delicious Honey Garlic Chicken?
This Sticky tender boneless chicken thighs/breast in a garlic, soy, and honey sauce can be ready in just 209 minutes. It’s been my go-to recipe for quite some time now, especially if I fancy a quick, easy Take-Away type meal after a long day.
The beauty of this recipe is the ingredients ate more than likely to be in your store cupboard already. It transforms an ordinary piece of chicken into something magical with very little effort and if you have visitors, they will think you’ve been working in the kitchen for hours to produce such a tasty meal.

Ingredients
- large Chicken Breast or thighs
- 1 tbsp Cornflour
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 30 g Butter Unsalted
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 80 g Chicken Stock
- 2 Spring Onions Chopped chopped fine
DISCLAIMER
I recommend using the Metric measurements (instead of cups & spoons) for more accuracy and better results.
Instructions
- Split the chicken breast into two equal portions,(see video)
- Coat in the cornflour and place in the heated oil in a large frying pan
- Cook on both sides until a nice colour is achieved
- Then add the butter and garlic and cook for two or three minutes, making sure not to burn the garlic.
- Next you add the honey, soy sauce, mix well
- Add the stock along with the salt and pepper and simmer until the chicken is cooked through, about 10 - 12 minutes
- Remove chicken to a plate and add some of the spring onion, continue to cook the sauce until it reduces to a nice thick, sticky consistency.
- Return the chicken to the sauce to re-heat it before serving over rice, pasta or whatever you prefer.
