Ingredients

  • 500 g Beef chopped or ninced
  • 200 g Swede diced
  • 250 g onion diced
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 50 g Vegetable oil
  • 50 g Cold water
  • 2.5 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons white pepper
  • 700 g Potatoes diced

DISCLAIMER

I recommend using the Metric measurements (instead of cups & spoons) for more accuracy and better results.

Made Cornish Pasties for the first time. I really liked your recipe and the way you guide views through the various steps.
I make sausage and meat pies so when I saw your use of the oil in the recipe I had some ground beef tallow I trimmed from a sirloin tip. I spread 65 g of it over the mixture instead in place of the oil. Wow! so much flavour. What an excellent recipe and the seasonings are so simple as are the ingredient. Thank you Mr. Paul.

Love it! The white pepper was a genius touch. Thank you for posting this recipe. It turned out lovely. I had extra filling so I put it into a regular pie. Thanks Mr Paul!
