A few weeks ago I had an email from a friend in Lahore, Pakistan, she is a great cook and has some wonderful ideas and this was in the email, although I’m not sure if this is one of her own or not. However, when I read the title I though she had made a mistake “Lemon Brownies?” – well it certainly got my attention straight away.

As Brownies are one of my favourites I thought I’d give it a try. Spent the Saturday morning shopping and on my return got my usual bread dough on the go, I usually do this so that it’s all ready to go as soon as my lunch is over. I had time to spare before preparing lunch so I set to work on the Lemon Brownies and I have to tell you, they were divine, even if I say so myself. They were so light, moist, and yummy so if you would like to give them a try you can see the recipe  HERE…..
