Lemon Glazed Carrots
These Lemon Glazed Carrots are a quick way to add a little something extra to your plate. Unlike most side dishes you can have these on the plate within 15 mins. and your guests will think you’ve spent hours preparing such an impressive meal
Lemon Glazed Carrots

Ingredients
- 450 g Baby carrots If using larger carrots see my tip below
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
- A pinch of Sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
DISCLAIMER
I recommend using the Metric measurements (instead of cups & spoons) for more accuracy and better results.
Instructions
- Baby carrots
- Scrub the carrots, no nee to peel them
- Place them into boiling water salted water and boil for 7 to 10 minutes depending on how soft or crunchy tou prefer.
- Drain the carrots and return them to the dry pan and place over the heat briefly just to dry off any existing water.
- Place the butter, sugar, lemon juice and a pinch of salt in with the carrots and toss or stir the pan constantly until the carrots are glazed all over.
- Season to taste with freshly ground black pepper.

If you're using larger carrots, then peel and cut into fingers about 2cm thick then follow my method above.
